ERIC
Eric Lalonde
Eric joined Owl Practice Suite in 2023, as president of Owl Practice. With an MBA from Ivey Business School and over 20 years of leadership experience, he leads our strategic EHR solutions.
Eric began his career in mobile communications in the late 90s, progressing rapidly through various roles, in 2005 started focusing on what is known today as SaaS and cloud computing. Over the last 20 years, Eric has held different leadership positions in companies varying in size from Start Ups to Global 500, focusing on organizations that offer solutions centered on Health and Wellbeing.
As a huge animal lover, his family currently has 4 pets, and plans to adopt miniature Highland Cows and other farm animals.
MELISSA
Melissa Alvares
Melissa joined Owl Practice Suite in 2023 because it brings together her passions for purpose-driven business, healthcare technology and organizational transformation.
Melissa has 20+ years of experience leading all aspects of marketing including revenue generation, product marketing, brand/PR/IR and revenue operations. Her specialty is driving exponential growth by equipping marketing and sales teams with the capabilities to capitalize on a clear go-to-market strategy. Melissa has held marketing leadership roles in both the technology and healthcare sector including at CloudMD, MindBeacon, Swift Medical and Softchoice. She has been named to CDN’s Top 25 Women in IT and is a sought-after speaker on the topics of brand, growth and Health Tech.
Melissa enjoys adventure travel with her family, playing ultimate frisbee and exploring the city on her bike.
DANIEL
Daniel DePauw
Daniel joined Owl Practice in 2023 as the VP of Engineering, bringing over 17 years of IT leadership experience. Known for his ability to motivate teams and drive efficiencies.
Daniel fosters a culture of continuous improvement and unparalleled customer service. He has experience launching and growing SaaS solutions in the healthcare and cloud computing industries, and has championed strategic solutions in software engineering and product development. Prior to Owl Practice, Daniel held leadership roles at Faction Inc., PX Technology LLC, and Systeem Medical Information Systems. With a focus on innovation and strategic relationship building, Daniel is dedicated to driving forward-thinking initiatives aimed at building products and services that improve people’s lives.
Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, working on cars and going on Jeep adventures.

Hilary Roberts
Hilary began her career at Owl Practice 5 years ago working to help support Therapists navigate the platform.
She is a passionate advocate for mental health professionally and in her personal life and has grown in her career with the organization where she is currently the Director of Sales and Client Services.
As a lifelong volunteer, Hilary is thrilled to continue her career with Owl Practice, helping nurture customer relationships and grow the company’s software to better serve mental health professionals. Hilary is also an active volunteer in the LGBTQ2+ community, loves painting and baking in her spare time.
